Description: Join two LPS educators for a hand’s on workshop on how to merge a Web 2.0 tool with research-based writing to learn activities. By the end of this session, you’ll have built a wiki for your students this fall, and a better grasp on how writing activities will promote learning in your content area.

Mike Porter: Mike is the Assistant Director for Instructional Technology who previously was a Language Arts teacher for 10 years. Mike continues to support technology tools in classrooms across content areas and has a free website to support your instruction, just ask!

Kristin Leclaire: Kristin is a Language Arts Teacher at Arapahoe High School who recently presented at the National Council of English Teachers Annual Conference on 21st century literacies. Kristin has integrated technology tools into her everyday classroom.
